Terms & Conditions
Legal Disclaimer
These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and procedures for enrolment in children’s dance classes at Vision Performing Arts. By enrolling your child in our classes, you agree to comply with the following terms:
Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of a completed enrolment form and payment of any applicable fees.
Enrolments are ongoing and will continue each term unless notice of withdrawal is provided in writing (see Section 7).
All student details provided at enrolment must be accurate and kept up to date.
Fees and Payments
Fees are charged per term and must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.
A non-refundable annual registration fee may apply to cover administration and insurance costs.
Late payments may incur an administrative fee.
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes. Makeup classes may be offered at the studio’s discretion, subject to availability.
Uniform and Grooming
Students are required to wear the correct uniform and appropriate dance footwear for each class.
Hair must be tied back neatly and securely. No jewellery should be worn during class.
Uniform guidelines are provided upon enrolment and are available on request.
Attendance and Punctuality
Regular attendance is essential for student progress and group consistency.
Students must arrive on time, dressed and ready to participate.
Parents/guardians must notify the studio in advance if a student will be absent.
Health and Safety
Parents must inform the studio of any medical conditions, injuries, or allergies that may affect their child’s participation.
Vision Performing Arts takes all reasonable care to ensure a safe environment but will not be held responsible for injuries sustained during classes, performances, or while on the premises.
First aid will be administered in the event of an injury, and parents will be contacted immediately where necessary.
Photography and Media Consent
Photographs or videos may be taken during classes, performances, or events and may be used for promotional purposes (e.g. website, social media, marketing).
If you do not consent to your child’s image being used, please notify the studio in writing at the time of enrolment.
Withdrawal and Cancellation
A minimum of 2 weeks’ written notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child from classes.
Fees remain payable up to the end of the notice period.
Enrolment in performances or exams requires commitment. If you withdraw after committing, costs already incurred (e.g. costume fees) are non-refundable.
Behaviour and Code of Conduct
All students and parents must adhere to the Studio’s Student and Parent Codes of Conduct.
Disrespectful, disruptive, or unsafe behavior may result in suspension or removal from the studio without refund.
Vision Performing Arts reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment at its discretion in the event of serious or ongoing breaches of conduct.
Communication
All studio communication is sent via email or through the official studio communication platform. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to check these channels regularly.
Class and event updates, term dates, and payment reminders will be provided in advance.
Changes to Timetables and Classes
Vision Performing Arts reserves the right to cancel, merge, or alter classes and schedules due to enrolment numbers, teacher availability, or other operational requirements.
Every effort will be made to notify families in advance of any changes.
Liability
While every effort is made to provide a safe learning environment, participation in dance classes is at the student’s own risk.
Vision Performing Arts and its staff are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained before, during, or after classes.
