Safeguarding Policy
Commitment
Vision Arts Studios offers fun, excellent-quality training in a wide variety of dance styles and programs, from wedding dances and private lessons to group classes and school programs. We aim to develop dancers not only as artists but as individuals, giving them the opportunities to understand the dance industry and perform in a positive, supportive and professional environment. Learning in a non-discriminatory, inclusive environment will help each dancer achieve and learn tools to be successful in the creative industries, as well as having the time of their life and making friends!
The purpose of this policy statement is to:
-
Protect children and young people who receive dance classes from Vision Arts Studios from harm, including the children of adults who also take dance classes.
-
Provide staff and volunteers, as well as children, young people and their families, with the overarching principles that guide our approach to child protection.
This policy applies to anyone working on behalf of Vision Arts Studios, including senior management, paid staff, volunteers, sessional workers, agency staff and students.
